Traditional Malaysian Sarong
Traditional Malaysian Sarongs are often worn by women, especially from the older generations, in official cultural ceremonies. They are made from cotton blends to keep cool in the South East Asian climate.
These fabrics can be used either for decorational or functional purposes. Such as curtains or table cloths in the home; they can also be used at the beach as a cover up or to lay on the sand.
Proceeds of this purchase directly go back to the Sakau Rainforest Lodge in Borneo Malaysia, which acquires their fair-trade products from local craftsmen, artisans, micro-entrepreneurs, and other small producers of handicrafts.
