Our story dates back to 2018 when our founder, Jaclyn Yost, witnessed the negative effects of mass tourism firsthand while traveling throughout Southeast Asia. Inspired to make a difference, Jaclyn started ecomadic as a blog and went on to dedicate her Master’s research to the correlation between greenwashing and sustainable tourism. Today, she leads ecomadic’s talented team who share her vision of a future where sustainability is at the forefront of travel.
